இந்த நாவல் இரண்டு முறை திரைப்படமாக வெளிவந்துள்ளது. உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற இந்த நாவலை டாக்டர் சந்திரமௌலி மொழியாக்கம் செய்திருக்கிறார்.
